Al and I are delighted to be celebrating our silver wedding anniversary on our concert tour of Australia today. The 17th October marks 25 years since we were married – here’s to the next 25!
It was wonderful to spend a little time with Jason Donovan yesterday chatting about Australia when we both appeared on RTE.
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. We had a busy time catching up with family spending some quality time with them, the grandchildren are growing up so much, it seems like yesterday they were babies. Talking about babies, my step-daughter Emma had a beautiful little boy on the 6th of January so more blessings on us, mum and baby doing very well.
I am busy at the moment getting down to organising the set list for the Irish tour. There will be a lot of the hit songs on it and also some of the new songs from the new album which is getting a wonderful reaction from folks all over the world. I also have to organise our rehearsals for the show, this is going to be a new show that we will be taking to Ireland in February and March, Newfoundland in June, Australia in September and October and then onto New Zealand in October and November. It needs to be looked at carefully to make sure we get the right blend of old favourites and new songs in there too.
Well friends, better get back to work, hope to see you all soon.
Al and myself would like to wish you all a happy and a prosperous 2017 when it comes. It’s going to be a busy year for us and we’re really hoping to meet some of you on our travels.
All the best
